Good typography is so important for any graphic designer. Choosing the right type is just
as important as choosing the right words or the right images.
The color and size of type is also important, most be people do not realize it, but when
they read something the color, size and type of that font is instantly going into their
subconscious. They are building a picture, not from the words but from the choice of font,
color and size used. The main purpose of advertising, which is a big part of what graphic
design is used for, is to gain attention. This is mostly done by using type , imagery and
words together to create the correct mood and send a memorable message to the
audience
